The Role

The Life Science Consumable Marketing team is looking for smart, passionate, and naturally curious people with a Customer first mindset.  If you are a hardworking, collaborative problem-solver, then join our high-impact, global Product Management team. As Associate Product Manager, you will support the Sterility Assurance product line by working with the Product Manager and established project teams to achieve the established financial and new product objectives. You will work on  projects in the product/market area and will be responsible for supporting your product line(s) on a daily basis. You will also work closely with peer managers in all disciplines within the company in support of new product development and business process improvement.

What You'll Do as an Associate Product Manager

  • Gathers and analyzes product line data in support of product line initiatives and strategic reviews
  • Coordinates the development of product line promotional materials including website, brochures, e-mail, sales presentations and trade event properties with marketing communications group 
  • Supports field sales with product line and technical information as needed for Customer solicitations and support 
  • Develops and maintains a database of competitive information 
  • Supports Voice of the Customer initiatives to identify Customer needs and industry trends 
  • Helps in the development of sales training materials and events 
  • Supports new product development projects 
  • Assists in preparing annual strategic plans and budgets

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed:

  • BA or BS degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • Three plus years of relevant business experience (1-2 years of that experience in Marketing preferred)

Skills

  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency for executing strategic plans and achieving product revenue goals
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, negotiation, analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to work remotely or in an office setting 
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Applications to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, with track record of successfully connecting, influencing, and motivating cross functional teams
  • Domestic and International Travel required
