Job Description

The Chief Product Officer is responsible for leading the strategy, operations, and compliance of Music Tribe’s innovative product categories. This role involves spearheading disruptive product development, overseeing cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Strategy

- Product Vision and Roadmap: Develop and execute the product vision and roadmap for long-term market disruption and industry leadership.
- Market Research and Competitive Positioning: Conduct market research to identify opportunities and create strategies that differentiate products from competitors.
- Innovation and Disruption Planning: Drive innovative product development that disrupts markets and addresses future customer needs.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and sales to design and implement successful go-to-market strategies.
Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure product strategy aligns with business goals by coordinating with senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Operations

- Product Development Lifecycle Management: Manage the full product lifecycle, from concept to market launch, ensuring timely delivery.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure smooth collaboration between engineering, marketing, and sales.
- Resource and Budget Allocation: Optimize resources and budgets for efficient product development and launch.
Product Performance Monitoring: Track product KPIs and adjust strategies based on performance data.
- Customer Feedback Integration: Gather and incorporate customer feedback to improve product quality and experience.

Compliance

- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure product development meets all industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Quality Assurance: Develop a comprehensive quality assurance protocols to minimize risks and maintain high standards.
- Environmental and Sustainability: Align product development with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
Legal and Intellectual Property Protection: Collaborate with legal teams to safeguard intellectual property and patents.
- Data Privacy and Security Compliance: Ensure all products comply with data privacy and security regulations.

Qualifications

- Product Management Experience: Minimum of 7 years in product management, focusing on disruptive technologies or innovative categories.
- Strategic and Innovative Thinking: Proven ability to create and execute disruptive product strategies.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of product development processes and cross-functional collaboration.
Market Analysis and Business Acumen: Experience in conducting market research and driving data-informed product decisions.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with success in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
