Division Profile:

The Firmwide Generative AI Team at Morgan Stanley is a dynamic and innovative department that serves as a center of GenAI enablement for the firm. The team is responsible for deploying advanced systems that utilize generative artificial intelligence to optimize business processes. The team oversees governance and control measures to ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies. The team is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and provide education on AI technologies to other departments within the company.

 

 

Position Summary\:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to lead the technological development and expansion of our GenAI product. The Product Owner will play a crucial role in enhancing the current GenAI offering, engaging users and expanding the capabilities to other business units. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with various teams to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of technology solutions across the firm.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

-Agile Leadership\: Conduct Agile ceremonies, oversee the creation of Epics and User Stories, refine backlogs, and lead UX design sessions to ensure technical releases are aligned with user requirements and business goals.

-Use Case Prioritization\: Collaborate with various business units to identify and prioritize their use cases for GenAI implementation. Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

-User Engagement & Adoption\: Engage users across the firm to solicit their feedback, informing management of strategic enhancements. Develop and execute product adoption strategies to grow the awareness of best practices among the addressable user market.

-Project Planning and Execution\: Monitor project progress, identify risk and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

-Cross-Functional Collaboration\: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project alignment and synergy.  Contribute ideas and insights to drive collaboration, innovation and knowledge sharing across GenAI initiatives.

 

-Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, experience with Generative AI and Salesforce CRM platform is a plus.

-Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, project management tools, and UX design principles.

-Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

-Experience in handling user feedback, pilot testing, product support, and driving technology adoption strategies.

 

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $155,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
