About the Role

As a key member of Trillium Pumps USA, you will deliver expert technical support and guidance to our sales team, ensuring alignment between factory capabilities, product strategy, and customer needs to drive growth. You will have the ability to lead cross-functional teams to optimize the profitability of our product lifecycle and establish market leadership in our product categories. Additionally, you will develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to achieve targeted market share goals, ensuring that our product and business strategies remain robust and aligned with market demands. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with the outside sales team.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement product strategies that align with market needs and company goals. Define product vision, roadmap, and competitive positioning.
  • Perform market analysis to identify and understand customer needs across various industry segments and regions to ensure new product development projects align with market and/or customer needs.
  • Manage new product development projects to ensure timely and successful launches. Collaborate with all aspects of the organization to ensure successful product launches and continuous product improvements are achieved.
  • Track and report on product performance metrics, including sales, profitability, and market share. Use data to make informed decisions and drive product enhancements.
  • Ensure that all products meet industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements including BABA, NSF, UL, etc. Keep abreast of changes in regulations and adapt product strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective sales campaigns and marketing materials tailored to target audiences.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to maintain a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements.
  • Assist the sales team with data collection and presentation preparation for customer meetings.
  • Regularly update the installation database to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct training sessions for both internal teams and external customers.
  • Support sales activities by participating in customer visits.
  • Collect and analyze internal feedback to drive execution plans and strategies.
  • Occasional travel to support job duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business Development preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years related experience in relevant experience working for a pump original equipment manufacturer.

 

Specialist Knowledge:

  • Technical and commercial product experience with engineered-to-order and configured-to-order centrifugal, reciprocating, screw, or specialty pumps as related to, oil & gas, nuclear power, conventional power, renewable power, petrochemical, and Industrial markets
  • Technical and Commercial understanding of distribution sales strategies, price lists and selling strategy through sales representatives

FLSA Classification:  Exempt/Salaried

California Annual Compensation Range:  $115,000 - $170,000

Additional Compensation:  This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.  

Compensation will differ in regions outside of California and will be based on applicable local and federal compensation laws.
