The Product Manager is a key member of the Analytics organization working to drive the strategy and vision of the products and its features. The incumbent in this role works very closely with all Analytic Teams, development teams, QA engineers, business analysts, clinical stakeholders, and user experience design leads to create the product vision, roadmap, and ensure the final deliverable meets stakeholder needs. Product Managers within Analytics are responsible for both the creation and rollout of the product but also the curated analytic content.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Determines business and customer needs by evaluating feedback and information gathered from multiple sources.
  • Defines strategy and processes for one or more Analytics product areas.
  • Owns the product roadmap and works with stakeholders to prioritize and translate into feature implementation. Manages a long term roadmap and drives a more detailed short term roadmap.
  • Collaborates with various teams including engineering, business analysts, clinical stakeholders, and UX/UI to determine the best technical implementation methods.
  • Collaborates proactively with Analytic teams to understand all KPIs and content areas to ensure the products are maintained and updated at all times.
  • Supports communications, meetings, and other collaborations as appropriate to effectively perform work and to understand, resolve, and/or mitigate risks, obstacles, and conflicts in the performance of functional activities.
  • Prepares and communicates status updates and demonstrations to senior executives and other stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Professional-level business acuity
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of general/core job-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques and methods
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance and/or Marketing
  • Passionate problem solver
  • Ability to proactively communicate thoughtfully, leveraging problem-solving skills and a learning mindset to build long-term relationships
  • Great interpersonal skills, as the role will be embedded in a very matrixed organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, database, and presentation software
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to 10% of the time
  • Spoken and written fluency in English
  • This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment and requires proactive initiative and autonomy

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or business-related field required OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis required
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in the product management role; or similar experience having managed programs or projects for businesses that contribute for customers and business partners; or similar experience within an analytics organization
  • Hands-on software product design and/or development experience preferably in an agile software development environment
  • Experience leading design, feature breakdown and projects/products from inception through launch
  • Experience in healthcare domain preferred
  • Experience in analytics domain preferred
