What is the job about?

 

Grundfos is seeking a Regional Product Manager. The Regional Product Manager is responsible for managing the entire product line life cycle from regional strategic planning to tactical activities and daily operations. They will ensure continuous identification and development of profitable growth opportunities from a product perspective by driving initiatives and projects in the region that are in line with the global and regional strategies and plans. In addition, the Regional Product Manager will be the regional voice of the customer while capturing regional market requirements. This position reports directly to the Head of Marketing and Product Management and will operate on a hybrid schedule out of the Brookshire, TX facility.

 

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.

 

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

Product Marketing and Lifecycle Management:

 

  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research by on-going visits to customers and conducting regional market and competitive intelligence.
  • Support new product development activities while defining and implementing regional/local portfolio.
  • Capture regional market requirements and provide feedback to the global product line management.
  • Support product launches and campaigns and communicate all product updates to local sales teams.
  • Define and maintain regional range, pricelist, master data, etc.
  • Understanding of local approvals and regulatory requirements and ensure local approvals, vendor lists and compliance.
  • Monitor sales results for specific product ranges.

 

Training and Knowledge Sharing:

 

  • Upgrade the sales team product knowledge and competence in providing solutions.
  • Conduct seminars and trainings for consultants as well as owners who have potential projects on hand.

 

Technical Support:

 

  • Provide the sales team across the region with the necessary technical expertise.
  • Act as a point of reference for all product related enquiries.
  • Support sales to close deals ad-hoc with product technical knowledge and participate in technical negotiations.

 

 

Your background:

 

We imagine that you have:

 

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering principle is required.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in the Product Life Cycle Management.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience working for a multi-national/global company.
  • Proven record of cross-functional team contribution with a passion for product management in a local and global environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead processes or projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify the root cause of a problem/challenge and define sets of options to address it.
