Sr. Product Manager – TripExcess – S&S Transportation & Sharing Economy Underwriting

Our Transportation & Sharing Economy division focuses on providing cutting-edge insurance products tailored to the evolving needs of the transportation industry and technology platforms with unique commercial auto exposures.

Job Overview: As the Product Manager for TripExcess, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and adoption of our patented insurance program within the transportation industry. You will lead initiatives to raise awareness, manage client relationships, and ensure exceptional customer service.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact and ambassador for TripExcess, represent C&F in engaging with insurance producers, motor carriers, and freight brokers.
  • Develop and execute public campaigns to increase awareness and adoption of TripExcess.
  • Create and implement onboarding training programs for new clients to facilitate seamless integration and understanding of TripExcess.
  • Identify market opportunities, develop, maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, offering specialized intelligence, analysis and recommendations to continuously refine and improve TripExcess based on market feedback and industry trends.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy for the Transportation & Sharing Economy division to enhance brand awareness and engagement with key insurance producers.
  • Provide coaching to junior staff as needed

 

What you will bring to C&F:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • proven experience in product management or related roles within the insurance or transportation industry.
  • Strong understanding of excess liability insurance and transportation logistics preferred.
  • Experience with public relations and media engagement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute initiatives that drive business growth.
  • Experience in developing and managing marketing campaigns and client engagement programs.
  • Certifications in product management or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with insurance regulatory requirements and compliance.
