Associate Product Manager

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager who has a strong understanding of technology, is driven, and is naturally curious. This individual will work collaboratively across the organization and impact a range of initiatives that directly support our mission of providing world class musculoskeletal health.

 

Position Summary:

 

HSS is seeking an Associate Product Manager who will lead development of a diverse portfolio of data products – spanning data stores, pipelines, self-service products, and analytical models. Working collaboratively across disciplines, this individual will both design and execute against our data strategy, all while contributing to a growing culture of digital adoption and data-driven decision making.  A successful candidate is self-driven, enjoys problem solving, and is highly motivated to make an impact from day one.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full product lifecycle for a portfolio of new and existing products including, but not limited to, cloud data platforms, low code applications, web/mobile apps, data warehousing, workload and process automation, self-service tooling, product design and prototyping, data visualization and enterprise dashboards
  • In the first three months, this individual will be responsible for the following areas:
  • Manage roadmap and expand development for our enterprise data warehouse (e.g., draft requirements for datamarts targeting major business areas, create and standardize definitions for metrics, set up product analytics infrastructure, manage the data within our enterprise data warehouse)
  • Manage self-service data strategy, including developing key relationships with stakeholders and advocating on behalf of user needs (e.g., SlicerDicer, Alteryx automations, Epic dashboards, Tableau dashboards)
  • Set up an integrated data catalogue solution that provides metadata management, definition standardization, data lineage, etc.
  • Support Agile/Scrum rituals and meetings for product teams
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with developers on various data-related workstreams – driving from start to finish
  • Support and manage our data governance process and standardization tools
  • Develop presentations and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Develop educational materials for self-service tools and data products

 

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional work experience
  • Highly fluent with technology, including ability to learn and apply new technical concepts or knowledge as needed
  • Comfortable operating independently and navigating uncharted areas or situations
  • Keen ability to synthesize information and communicate effectively and appropriately across a variety of mediums (verbal, visual, written, etc.)
  • Strong analytical capabilities; data-fluent and quantitatively comfortable
  • Ability to grasp technical implications surrounding every product or engineering decision
  • Skills in creative problem solving, time management, cross-disciplinary collaboration, data analysis, communications, and presentation
  • Experience with modern data systems and data prep & visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, SQL)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with modern collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with modern data stores, cloud platforms (AWS), and/or APIs a plus
  • Experience with applications or solutions development a plus
  • Experience in healthcare and/or Epic EHR a plus

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Pay Range - Minimum

USD $90,000.00/Yr.

Pay Range - Maximum

USD $110,000.00/Yr.
