The Claims IT team within P&C IT Services is seeking a detail-oriented Product Intern to join the team for the summer 2025.

The intern will work closely with a Product Manager who works with a team developing first notice of loss applications for the insurance industry. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management and the insurance technology sector.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Product Manager in the development and enhancement of first notice of loss applications.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and marketing.
  • Participate in product planning and strategy sessions.
  • Help create and maintain product documentation and user guides.
  • Support the team in tracking and analyzing product performance metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of product presentations and reports.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.
  • Create user stories.Ā 

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of product management principles.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Ā 

Education:

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field
  • Graduating in 2027
