Oracle Cloud Procurement is looking for a seasoned product manager to build next generation experiences to shape the future of Procurement.

Responsibilities

This is a position that requires a combination of strong engagement and communication skills, pragmatic thinking, tactical execution and the ability to balance an ever challenging mix of priorities. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Customer Engagement
    • Engage with Oracle Cloud Procurement customers to understand their needs
    • Run customer meetings and/or focus groups to capture detailed product requirements
    • Gather feedback to improve our solutions 
  • Roadmap Definition
    • Develop and present a strategic product roadmap to senior management, securing buy-in and driving adoption.
  • Cross-functional collaboration
    • Work closely with design, development, QA, and other Oracle teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery
    • Understand the market, customers and product management strategy and convey these contexts to the team
    • Drive change across lines of business
    • Be a subject matter expert
    • Proactively contribute to ongoing process improvement and ensure high quality outcomes for our customers
  • Event/Program Facilitation
    • Organize and facilitate customer advisory board events or programs, managing agendas, conducting demos, and leading product sessions.
  • Customer Communication
    • Communicate with customers on product rollout updates to ensure that customers understand the benefits of our solutions, adopt our solutions and have clarity of resources available to them
  • Documentation
    • Provide comprehensive release documentation for new features and functions. Make Videos...whatever it takes to connect with the users.
  • Measure Success
    • Define, measure, and manage customer experience and business performance goals
    • Ensure that what we build adds up to meaningful experiences for our customers


What you bring:

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical Experience: Proven experience in business analysis and requirement gathering
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with cloud application development and related technologies. Experience with other procurement solutions, ERP or supply chain solutions is a plus
  • Independence: Ability to work autonomously and drive projects to completion
  • Global Team Player: Flexibility to work with international teams and customers across different time zones
  • Curiosity: An innate curiosity and eagerness to explore new technologies, methodologies, and trends in Procurement
     

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in a relevant functional area.
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience with cloud or enterprise software in product development, consulting, or a related field.

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
