What you'll do

Our Product Management teams work on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative global group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to design solutions from concept to launch, all while focusing on and advocating for what’s best for our customers. We work closely with Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative products. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to bring the product to market.

 

As a Product Manager in this role, you will be responsible for owning the roadmap for App Center, which includes driving adoption across different customer segments, improving usability, removing the adoption blockers, expanding into international markets and accelerating growth. Through working in partnership with several teams and stakeholders, you will help develop the roadmap, vision, definition, design and delivery of the underlying platform systems and applications in order to support continued system scale, a broadening product portfolio, the basis for new innovative product capabilities, and improve operational efficiencies related to these industries. Your objectives will be directly linked to business metrics such as revenue, customer adoption, and operational efficiency.

 

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Lead Product Manager.

 

Responsibility

  • Build the strategy and roadmap for Docusign App Center product offerings by working with Sales, Customer Support, Partner Management, Product Management and Marketing teams
  • Assist in driving the vision and requirements, translate them to functional specifications, facilitate a sound design and deliver an efficient experience
  • Leverage primary and secondary research to deepen understanding of customers across their lifecycle, from awareness to renewal and expansion
  • Drive insights on the markets and segments in which these applications compete, staying abreast of industry trends, events, and channels to anticipate customer needs
  • Understand and profile high value, innovative use cases purchased and implemented by a variety of enterprise customers across many geos
  • Evaluate and prioritize requirements in partnership with Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and Product team leadership, using industry best practices and new innovations
  • Prioritize and lead a product backlog for effective release and sprint planning
  • Facilitate requirements definition with Design and Engineering partners while identifying dependencies and relative priority with other product managers, and decompose those requirements into document releases, epics, functional requirements to designer and developer-ready user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Work with Program Management, Design and Engineering to ensure product ships on time and to quality

What you bring

Basic

  • 5+ years of experience in product management for an enterprise cloud or SaaS product or a combination of product management, engineering or management consulting solving large-scale technology issues
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, Engineering, IT, Operations, Program Management, Marketing, Sales and Customer Support
  • Direct experience using iterative or Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM)
  • Experience with developer platform facing tools and technologies including APIs, client libraries/SDKs, data models, and service oriented architecture
  • Experience with, or ability to learn, tools such as Mixpanel, Optimizely, JIRA, or other scrum tools
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related area of study (e.g., CS, EE, IT, Systems, MIS)


Preferred

  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who can navigate through ambiguous environments and work independently when needed
  • Demonstrated success building and managing large-scale technology products including new, existing, or legacy products
  • Experience influencing and collaborating well in a matrixed environment having multiple partners
  • Experience building partner integrations or working with partners
  • Experience building B2B SaaS Marketplaces or features for a SaaS Marketplace
  • Great communication skills and a talent for making complex concepts understandable
  • A solution-focused problem solver who’s as comfortable strategizing and leading as diving into the details of getting solutions built, tested, and launched
  • Ability to execute consistently, rapidly, and effectively
  • Experience with product planning, customer discovery, product discovery, and prod dev process
  • MBA or MS in Business

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

California: $122,300 - $190,650 base salary

 

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
