Job Overview

As Product Manager, you are responsible for the overall vision and roadmap of the Enterprise Application team and the value it delivers to the organization. You will partner with stakeholders to understand the business demand and convert them into deliverables. This is a highly collaborative role and ensures clear communication and alignment between stakeholders and delivery teams.

Roles You Will Play

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and users to understand and anticipate the needs and translate them into Initiatives and Epics.
  • Envision business functionality and process required to deliver on corporate Initiatives and department objectives.
  • Partner with Delivery Team to conduct Project Discovery/POCs and present findings to business and technology leadership
  • Act as the voice of the customer and transform objectives and Initiatives into Epics, with clear and concise representation of scope, value, outcomes, and acceptance criteria.
  • Review and Prioritize approved Initiatives and Epics with stakeholders before moving into planning.
  • Effectively organize Story Maps that break down Epics into sprint level deliverables.
  • Prioritize epics and user stories according to business value.
  • Partner with delivery manager and team to ensure prioritized backlog items are groomed and ready for sprint.
  • Evaluate the progress and adjust features and priority at each iteration.
  • Manage and Own the backlog-Ensure team understands items in the Backlog to the level needed.
  • Maintain healthy backlog to eliminate stopgaps.
  • Attend Sprint Demos and accept/reject the work
  • Work with users to run UAT cycles
  • Coordinate with Delivery Manager on deployments
  • Attend quarterly planning meetings and reviews
  • Attend scrum ceremonies – daily stand up, sprint planning and retrospective, scrum of scrums.

 

Building Blocks of Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance/accounting, management information systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/Technology
  • 2+ years of Product Owner/Product Manager experience in Agile Environment
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering and elicitation, managing product backlogs and defining epics and user stories
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and balance priorities
  • Prior experience working with SaaS (Software as a Service) applications (eg: ERP, CRM, SCM) and BPA and RPA tools (Eg: UiPath) are desirable
  • Knowledge Of Accounting/Finance is a plus
  • Experience using Atlassian products or similar toolsets.
  • Knowledge of Agile approaches (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.)
  • Scrum Master or Product Owner Certifications
  • Prior development/technical experience are desirable
  • This is an in-office positon at our Atlanta office location
