MX is hiring a Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will drive financial banking innovation with fresh ideas and a founder's mindset. The successful candidate will focus on solving critical banking user problems and enhancing end user financial well-being. We need someone we can rely on, who will lead and make decisions based on data and facts, not emotions and anecdotes. Job Duties

  • Take a leadership role in designing, developing, and launching software products with a talented team. Your responsibilities will encompass requirements gathering, documentation creation, timeline specification, user experience analysis, quality assurance, product performance, and usage analysis.

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, writers, software engineers, data scientists, quality assurance engineers, and product marketers to bring innovative products to market that align with the MX mission.Apply your product management experience to work on cutting-edge and innovative solutions, not just incremental maintenance.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the financial industry and work with a diverse range of companies in the space.

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of finances, account and transaction types, and data enhancement methods to deliver the best end user experience.

  • Work with valuable data that significantly impacts end users' lives.

  • Evaluate solutions' pros and cons, using data to make informed decisions.

  • Empathize with users through research and usability testing sessions.

  • Pay meticulous attention to detail and prioritize simplicity and consistency.

  • Effectively communicate ideas and concepts through mock-ups.

  • Participate in collaborative environments, offering and receiving thoughtful critiques.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the full software and product development lifecycle, with a strong grasp of building successful SaaS products preferred.

  • Exceptional internal cross-team and external customer-facing communication skills.

  • Expertise in prioritizing complex problems.

  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to take projects from concept to completion.

  • A Growth-Mindset attitude, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

  • Proficiency in user-centric solutions.

  • A passion for solving challenging problems.

  • A background in Fintech or banking, preferred.

Work Environment

At MX, we utilize a hybrid work model, which allows us to attract top talent and increase impact through collaboration. Our team members enjoy a balance of remote work and in-office days. Travel expectations for remote employees is about 15%, and the company covers travel expenses for remote employees. Local employees will utilize in-office time on a weekly basis Tuesday through Thursday. Both local and remote employees can take advantage of our incredible office space with onsite perks like company-paid meals, onsite massage therapist, golf simulator, and meditation room to name a few.

Compensation

The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $97,000 to $116,250. This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.

We utilize a hybrid work arrangement style, which may require both local and remote team members to be in the office when necessary, to kick off projects, hold cross team strategy meetings, or complete key deliverables. Remote team members will travel into the office four times per year, and MX covers travel expenses associated with this requirement.
