Responsibilities

We are seeking a Product Manager Leader to join our dynamic team in the Life Sciences industry. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, ensuring the successful execution of product strategies. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, monitoring product performance, and contributing to product innovation efforts. As a key player in our organization, you will bring your expertise in product development and Life Sciences industry knowledge to drive our products to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the Product Management department within Hamilton’s Laboratory products business unit.
  • Manage a team of Product Managers and assist them in developing and executing product strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Product Management to ensure alignment with the overall company objectives.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams, providing input and expertise to support the successful launch and management of products.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competition, and contribute to product innovation and differentiation efforts.
  • Contribute to the creation and management of the product roadmap, helping prioritize and allocate resources.
  • Assist in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor product performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the Product Management team.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on product performance for higher-level management.
  • Present product strategies, updates, and performance to senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Handles other essential tasks as assigned and responds to change productively.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of the Life Sciences industry, including regulations, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Understanding of scientific and technical aspects relevant to the company's products.
  • Proficiency in product development methodologies, including stage-gate processes and agile methodologies.
  • Strong product lifecycle management, from concept to market launch and post-launch phases.
  • The ability to formulate and execute a clear and effective product strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals.
  • Strategic decision-making based on data, market research, and customer insights.
  • Exceptional leadership skills to inspire and guide a team of Product Managers.
  • A mindset focused on continuous innovation and adaptation to changing market conditions.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Substantial experience in Product Management within the Life Sciences industry, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Successful ownership of product development processes and methodologies.
  • Proven track record of contributing to successful product launches in Life Sciences.
