Oracle Analytics Cloud group is looking for a Technical Product Manager to participate in defining product requirements and roadmap for Oracle Analytics and Data Visualization products and contribute to product enablement activities, including building community content. You will be working on inbound product management functions which involve defining product features and collaborating within the engineering teams to deliver these features. You will be working, in some capacity, in building end-to-end, reusable product demo assets and public examples that best showcase the products capabilities.
The Product Manager (PM) is expected to
Participate in inbound product management functions from product feature inception to delivery
Work with product Engineering, Design, QA, and Doc teams on various product features, Communicate product issues to the product owners, QA and engineering teams
Be a true expert in multiple product area(s), act as a product leader within the team
Build product demos and public examples. Develop reusable product extensions or demo samples (e.g. using Python, JavaScript or Java)
Channel demo materials and public examples with field and with public audience
Define and create videos of product demonstration for public posting, create blog entries for product features
Work with other PMs and Management, Sales, Partners and Customers in identifying demo needs
Requirements
Technical skills - Must have at least two:
Hands on experience on Machine Learning technologies
Python, Java, JavaScript/XML/HTML, Web services
Database modeling, SQL
Functional skills that enable in analyzing, modeling and interpreting data to derive valuable insights
Product management experience in building Analytic products – Highly desired
Technical background with prior experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics – Highly Desired
Hands on work experience in Oracle Analytics/OBIEE, Tableau, MS Power BI, Qlik or equivalent
Programming background with experience in building custom application – Highly Desired.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years of software engineering or related experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in producing enterprise product demos, technical blogs and learning videos is desired
Excellent teamwork skills, Proven ability to influence cross-functional, cross cultural teams
