DescriptionAs a Product Manager for Oracle’s Transactional Event Queues (TxEventQ) and Sagas framework, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Oracle’s event-driven, transactional, and microservices-oriented systems. TxEventQ provides high-performance, transaction-based messaging, while the Saga framework offers a unified approach to developing distributed business transactions in modern microservices environments. You will work across teams to innovate, enhance, and grow these products, making them integral to Oracle Database 23ai and its cloud offerings. Your contributions will simplify complex, distributed transactions for customers and enhance the development of reliable, asynchronous applications.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in product management with expertise in enterprise messaging, database technologies, and transaction-based services.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, transactional messaging systems, and the Saga pattern for managing distributed transactions.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging systems, with knowledge of how these systems integrate with databases and transaction management.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and high-availability systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value and present these to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with Oracle Database is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments while balancing short-term and long-term priorities.

Responsibilities
- Define the product vision and roadmap for Transactional Event Queues (TxEventQ) and Sagas, ensuring alignment with Oracle’s broader database and cloud services.
- Drive the development of features that enhance TxEventQ for event-driven, transactional messaging systems and Sagas for managing distributed transactions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and release features
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for TxEventQ and Saga framework growth.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization through launch, ensuring that features meet customer needs while aligning with Oracle’s long-term product strategy.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in marketing, sales, and support to drive successful go-to-market strategies for both products.
- Create clear product documentation, supporting both internal and external stakeholders to understand and adopt TxEventQ and Sagas.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Sagas and TxEventQ for customers, presenting at industry events, and engaging with customer feedback.
