Oracle Analytics is the Leader in Analytics driven by AI and Machine Learning. We are seeking for a dynamic and creative Principal Product Manager with expertise and passion in connecting with users to gather product feedback, product satisfaction, deliver the vision, strategy, roadmap as well as growing our Analytics Community and User Groups.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will be user group focused and possess a product management mindset. You will manage the Oracle Analytics User Groups, the coordination of the local User Group events, development of the User Group website page and attend User Group community events and conferences. You will be communicating with our key customers, users, partners and ensure they are aligned with our product roadmap, feature prioritization, communication, trainings and assets delivery.

The mission of this role is to ensure the growth of the Oracle Analytics Community and User Groups, via key programs including Oracle Analytics Leaders, Oracle Analytics Ambassadors, Analytics Public Gallery, Oracle Analytics Data Visualization Challenges, regional User Group growth, ACE growth and more.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Growing our community of users and User Groups.
  • Driving the development of the analytics community node to align with local User Groups. 
  • Conducting competitive research on community and User Group growth, gathering user group feedback on the community. 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams like OCI, Marketing, Sales to create innovative and user-centric solutions. 
  • Participating in the analytics events, forums, meetups, user groups and conferences to meet the User Groups.
  • Promote the User Groups community online and advocate for them.

 

What does success look like?

To excel as a Principal Product Manager in Product Strategy, flexibility and leadership skills are essential, as you will be guiding users and user groups towards a shared vision of the Analytics community. Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making are vital for understanding user behavior and grow the user groups and community. Adaptability and a user-first approach are crucial, as the product landscape is constantly evolving, and user satisfaction is paramount. You will need to be a user-focused leader, with strong empathy for users, and deep Analytics knowledge.

 

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role.
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud and/or Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot.
  • Experience with Community and User Group growth preferred.
  • Certification in Oracle Analytics or related technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
