The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager in our Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) department base out of our National Center office located in Dallas, TX! 

 

If located in the Dallas metroplex, this position will work in a hybrid setting (in office approximately 1-2 days a week and as needed).

Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for developing marketing plans and campaign schedules for assigned Health & Safety products, assets, and campaigns to help advance market objectives, impact goals and revenue. Lead plan implementation and ongoing reporting metrics, analysis/evaluation, and continual optimization of marketing activities. This role will report within the Sr. Director of Product Marketing, Health & Safety at the National Center and work closely with cross-functional teams within HBS and across the Association (such as Sales, Communications, Market Research, Science, Digital, Design) to engage B2B and B2C customers in paid, owned and earned go-to-market activities that deliver against aligned mission and revenue metrics. Manages external alliances and applicable vendor relationships. Abilities essential to this role include: strong project management skills, insights operationalization, ability to work independently and collaboratively, communication skills, follow-through, creativity and flexibility.  

  

  • In collaboration with the Sr. Director, research,identify, recommend, plan, and implement brand marketing strategies, tactics and timelines to promote CPR training and products, with emphasis on the Community Products Portfolio (CPR in Schools, CPR Youth Sports, CPR Anytime).
  • Optimize CRM and other marketing automation. Responsible for designing and deploying web-based lead generation and email marketing campaigns that nurture prospects, creative asset management, segmentation and lead scoring, and scheduling email campaigns.
  • Ensures tactical integration of Marketing & Communications strategies through multiple communications channels, including expanding digital engagement.
  • Manages the development of digital, interactive and experiential marketing collateral with internal and vendor/agency partners.
  • Provides marketing expertise to product development process and associated internal communications and training.
  • Integration with other HBS and Association-wide efforts and priorities. Partners to build, track, andoptimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (SEM, web, social, email, paid, etc.) and funnel/pipeline development.
  • Work withmarket research partners to conduct market analysis, baseline testing and assessment of opportunities that meet the needs of targeted audiences. Synthesize, communicate and apply insights across channels and activities.  
  • Develop and regularly deliver quality measurement, evaluation and impact reports of implemented marketing strategies and tactics. Proactively apply data and insights to optimize campaign performance.
  • Gathers assets for creation of email and other digital campaigns, such as design specifications, images, html content, and copy. Routes key assets for review and approval by stakeholders. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including creative/copy, technology, product, and other departments to ensure consistency of marketing messages and user experience across all digital and offline channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, digital marketing, communications, advertising, or product management.
  • At least five (5) years of experience managing marketing programs involving integrated marketing and communications.
  • 3 years of project management experience, including managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to be self-directed and work independently, and demonstrated ability overcoming obstacles to deliver on deadline.
  • Ability to capture audiences with compelling narratives. Possesses excellent presentation development skills and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong background in the digital asset production and creative process.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns to address business needs and success owning end-to-end marketing plan (development - implementation), including: digital content development, experiential marketing (live events), webinars, e-campaigns, digital advertising, and social media.
  • Demonstrated success in CRM platforms including email & direct marketing experience.
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce, Canva, Ceros, and Brandfolder.  
  • Experience with eCommerce marketing a plus.
  • Experience and curiosity about understanding social determinants of health, equity, and a proven dedication to advancing health equity.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% local and overnight stay.
