Overview:
We are looking for a Product Manager to lead and grow our industrial and exterior lighting lines, managing product specifications, profitability, and marketing across all regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify target markets and required products in line with business strategy.
- Analyze market trends, regulations, and competitor strategies in industrial and exterior lighting.
- Manage product lifecycles to maximize profitability through value engineering and pricing strategies.
- Develop strategic plans based on pricing, competition, and product specifications.
- Create marketing tools to highlight unique selling points and value propositions for sales teams.
- Draft briefs and business cases for new product ranges, incorporating market and customer insights.
- Assist in establishing product costs and market pricing relative to competitors.
- Support the creation of marketing content and materials.
- Train and support sales teams, both domestically and internationally.
- Manage key customer relationships, developing tailored product solutions.
- Provide bi-annual reports on product performance, market trends, and recommended actions.
- Conduct CPD seminars for internal and external audiences.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical knowledge of lighting applications.
- Familiarity with British Standards and industry guidelines.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
