Product Marketing Manager

Reporting to:

Head of Marketing

Responsible for:

Own our product marketing and positioning strategy and craft collateral and content to support the sales and marketing function.

Based at:

Hybrid Flexible Role with a link location at London or Portsmouth

Scope:

Responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and crafting clear, compelling collateral that supports our sales team. Working closely with the practise leads, CTO and marketing managers to ensure alignment and adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the practice leads to design and execute go-to-market strategies for our solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to uncover customer needs, market trends, competitive differentiators, and potential partnerships that drive growth.
  • Collaborate with the customer marketing and performance marketing manager, vendor alliance team, sales practice leads, and CTO to shape product marketing, ensure our positioning is on point, and leverage market and vendor opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and external agencies to produce compelling materials such as presentations, solution briefs, white papers, data sheets, road maps, blogs, videos, and articles.
  • Work closely with the performance marketing manager and business development leader to create impactful campaign collateral that generates leads and drives pipeline growth.
  • Be accountable, ensuring the strategic sales teams are fully supported with all the marketing assets they need to enable the sale.
  • Work with our technical leads and CTO to develop gated thought leadership and IP on the website. Β 
  • Analyse and report on the impact of product marketing initiatives to the head of marketing to enable us to refine our GTM strategies and provide accountability
  • Grow the team and manage a Content Marketer

Qualifications

  • Has 5+ years’ experience with a proven track record of product positioning and marketing in the tech sector.
  • Degree educated or suitable marketing equivalent qualification
  • An expert copywriter with the ability to translate your deep product understanding into compelling positioning and collateral
  • Have the drive to stay abreast of the customer and competitive landscape and industry news to best influence our marketing strategy
  • Provide strong project management skills who can successfully coordinate and direct multiple stakeholders.
  • Has experience partnering with external agencies and leading/influencing internal content and creative teams.
  • Be an excellent communicator and team player.
  • Is dynamic and energetic constantly seeking to improve our positioning and go-to-market messaging.
