ABOUT THE ROLE

PublicInput is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Product Marketing Manager to join our
innovative team. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this role is pivotal in driving
the success of our platform by creating compelling messaging, driving business growth, and
leading strategic product marketing initiatives. If you are passionate about developing sales

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Messaging & Positioning: Develop compelling and differentiated messaging and
    positioning, tailored to the target customer and highlighting core capabilities of
    PublicInput offerings.
  • Product Marketing Strategy: Take ownership of product marketing initiatives,
    including new product and feature releases, launch planning, programming and
    campaign development, sales enablement, brand, and web content development.
  • Lead and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and manage cross-
    functional teams.
  • Customer Journey Mapping: Develop and maintain detailed customer journey maps
    to visualize and improve the customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Toolkit Development: Develop a comprehensive toolkit supporting the selling
    process, including playbooks, sales decks, solutions briefs, white papers, product
    demos, videos, blogs, and webinars.
  • In-App Messaging: Develop and own the in-product customer communication
    strategy, including product discovery announcements, guides, walk-throughs, and
    success KPIs. Ensure a seamless and informative in-app experience for customers.
  • Customer Intel: Analyze market and customer data to identify trends and
    opportunities. Use insights to drive marketing strategies and ensure alignment with
    customer needs and market demands.
  • Competitive Research: Conduct throughout competitive research to identify
    strengths, weaknesses, and unique selling points of competitors.
  • Develop and maintain battlecards to equip the sales team with the
    information needed to differentiate PublicInput in competitive situations.

  • Revenue Growth: Increase in pipeline growth and revenue through the successful
    execution of product marketing strategies, impactful sales enablement, and
    effective messaging that resonates with target customers.
  • Market Share Expansion: Achieve an increase in market share by leading and
    executing Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies that effectively position PublicInput as a
    leader in the industry.
  • Sales Collateral Effectiveness: Measure the impact of sales collateral on conversion
    rates, aiming for an improvement in conversion metrics across different segments.
  • In-App Messaging Success: Evaluation of in-app messaging effectiveness through
    product discovery announcements, guides, walk-throughs, and success KPIs,
    leading to enhanced customer satisfaction and product adoption.
  • Competitive Differentiation: Evaluate the success of competitive research efforts
    by achieving a measurable improvement in how PublicInput is differentiated in
    competitive situations. Aim for a specific percentage improvement in win rates
    against key competitors.
  • Brand Visibility: Increase brand visibility and awareness by achieving a specific
    percentage growth in web traffic, social media reach, and brand mentions within the
    target market.
  • Product Launch Success: Measure the success of new product launches by tracking
    metrics such as adoption rates, user engagement, and revenue contribution, aiming
    for a specific percentage increase in success metrics.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product marketing, with a focus on developing and executing
    successful GTM strategies.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling
    messaging.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage market and customer data for
    strategic decision-making.
  • A project manager. You are able to manage a number of complex projects and deliver against tight deadlines.
  • An executor. Execution is imperative on this high-performing team.
  • A team player with a positive attitude.
  • A willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies on the fly.
