As a Product Manager in Real Time Payments, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- This role is a dynamic leader that will be responsible for working with the head of strategy and develop concrete plans for commercializing solutions globally to meet growth targets
- Identify and develop customer profiles and personas. Develop clear industry and client segments with target opportunities and detailed commercialization plans.
- Develop expertise in the solution; Partner with sales enablement, Product Sales Specialists, marketing and product team to develop and own high quality, compelling commercialization materials including sell boxes, value proposition, solution overviews centrally
- Participate in client and prospective client presentations; solution sell to clients, identify opportunities for product innovation, enhancements and value added services
- Develop and execute calendar of training, webinars, FAQs, objection handling to help unlock sales teams globally. Become the go-to person and gather feedback for product enhancements
- Own internal cost metrics, develop pricing strategies, and recommendations
- Develop outside-in view – benchmark our solution against competitive set of solutions and mitigation strategies
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Payments experience; experience in a merchant/ client facing role
- Experience in segmentation, pricing, developing product commercialization strategies
- Demonstrated experience in understanding product/ solution and translating complex topics in business friendly an client friendly terms
- Strong analytics skills, visual representation, excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings
