Position Summary:
As the SEM Product Manager, you’ll lead a team responsible for executing our clients’ SEM campaigns, driving strategy, optimization, and performance across Google Ads, Bing, and other search platforms. This role involves working closely with our account management, analytics, and creative teams to ensure campaigns meet client goals, deliver strong ROAS, and uphold industry standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with extensive SEM experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for helping clients succeed through data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage SEM campaigns from start to finish, including planning, execution, budget management, bid strategies, and reporting.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and develop optimized ad copy to drive high click-through and conversion rates.
- Regularly monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Lead the development and implementation of SEM best practices and innovative strategies to improve ROAS, CTR, and other key metrics.
- Guide and mentor a team of SEM specialists, fostering their growth and skills in campaign management and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that SEM strategies align with broader marketing objectives and enhance overall campaign effectiveness.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies, integrating these insights into client strategies as appropriate.
- Develop and present detailed reports on campaign performance, including insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Support high-level strategic initiatives and assist in the development of new SEM product offerings for clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in SEM, with a proven track record of managing large budgets and complex campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, and SEM bid management tools.
- Google Ads and Analytics certifications are preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, optimize campaigns, and communicate insights clearly.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing a team in a high-paced environment.
- Proven success in achieving campaign goals such as ROAS, CTR, and conversion rate.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working across teams and presenting to clients.
