DescriptionAs a Product Manager in the Product Development team, you will innovate, define and execute Compute’s product strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

- Hardware Background with 6+ years of experience planning hardware offerings
- New product introduction experience with a history of launching hardware product offerings
- Customer-centric, customer-facing, and problem-solving experience in a fast paced environment
- Deeply technical with an understanding of cloud infrastructure—able to define new features and functionality and synthesize them into what customers want/need
- Hands-on technical product manager —fungible enough to be deployed on any problem anywhere in OCI
- Can excel and deliver results under pressure

Responsibilities
- Industry leader and can formulate 18 months and 3 year hardware roadmaps.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, have an history of presenting product documents to executive leadership.
- Has launched multiple hardware offerings and a good knowledge of end to end product management from cradle to grave.
- Will pricing of key hardware offerings. Should be comfortable with owning marginal cost models and running different cost modeling scenarios.
- Deep knowledge of Hardware platform and systems, familiar with hardware offerings from key vendors like AMD, Intel, Nvidia and Ampere.
- Has done product requirements gathering and has formulated product MVPs.
- Good understanding of L6 and L11 bill of materials and excellent understanding of the processor, memory and SSD component space.
- Excellent communicator and can work seamlessly across engineering and other product teams.
- Own product blogs and product decks to evangelize product offerings to field.
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset and stay abreast of emerging technologies in the hardware industry.
- Understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, shaping the product roadmap and strategy
- Recognized product leader, can frame the vision for the team and hire/mentor the product organization.
- Thought leader and spokesperson for Compute Products, representing the company at industry conferences, events, and customer engagements
- Good knowledge of thermal and cooling systems should be able to articulate various cooling methods in the industry.
- Define new KPIs to inform decision making and prioritization
- Provide regular updates and interact with executive management to influence the portfolio
