Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business and product strategy aligned with company goals and market trends for the North American market.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Identify and formalize key differentiators to sales teams, marketing, and R&D to help develop the appropriate content and talk tracks.
- Gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and enhancements in the future. In general, be the personal advocate for their product(s).
- Product Launch:
- Coordinate product launches including all system updates, planning, execution, and post-launch analysis.
- Spearhead the definition of the value proposition for each solution and work with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, messaging, and sales enablement materials.
- Work closely with the creative marketing team to create all necessary collateral material.
- After initial creation, monitor these assets to ensure the messaging is still relevant and accurate. This includes brochures, customer events, websites, and social media.
- Product Performance Monitoring:
- Define and track product performance vs. budget and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive data-driven decisions using Salesforce reports and dashboards.
- Capture the “Voice of the customer” throughout the product life cycle. This should be done through regular participation in customer demonstrations, as well as site visits to existing and potential customers.
- Gather and maintain current competitive market information and competitive analysis as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the product lifecycle.
- Communicate product updates, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Work with operations and sales to develop and maintain forecasts to ensure proper inventory levels.
- Training Content:
- Development and maintain training content for their product(s) in order to train the existing sales team, new employees, as well as the dealer channel. This includes presentation materials and video content that can be delivered by an instructor in a classroom as well as pre-content recorded by the product manager to be delivered in a self-paced learning environment.
- Systems Update and Maintenance:
- Maintain and update the relevant product information within all of Fujifilm’s internal systems.
- Create and maintain the packages and kits in the quoting system to allow sales to create proposals.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- At least 4 years proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role involving both inkjet and toner solutions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive product decisions.
- Ability to communicate with vendors, employees, and customers in an efficient and professional manner
- Able to build revenue, pricing, and product adoption models
- Effective meeting planning and facilitation
- Strong operational & project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically.
